Golden Globes 2018: Hugh Jackman has VERY awkward reaction after losing to James Franco
HUGH JACKMAN lost out on a Golden Globe Award to James Franco last night, and he didn’t try too hard to conceal his disappointment.
The Australian was nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy for his role as PT Barnum in The Greatest Showman.
However, it was James, 39, who took home the Golden Globes gong for his portrayal of Tommy Wiseau in The Disaster Artist.
As the star made his acceptance speech, the camera cut to Hugh, 49, who looked completely bewildered.
Those watching the awards ceremony couldn’t help but laugh at the star’s reaction to his loss and took to Twitter to comment.

As a second claimed: “I declare Hugh Jackman's face as the official first meme of the 2018.”
However, there were some fans who felt Hugh’s response was just and that he had been cheated out of a win.
"I cannot believe Hugh Jackman was robbed," one commented.
While another fan questioned: "How did Hugh Jackman not win Best Actor?! How did The Greatest Showman not win more awards!? It's the best movie ever."
Although he may have been pipped to the post this year, the actor did win the category back in 2013 for his role in Les Misérables.
