Telus completes acquisition of AlarmForce ops

Canadian operator Telus has acquired the operations of AlarmForce Industries in BC, Alberta and Saskatchewan for a total of CAD 66.5 million. The transaction, which has now closed, includes all customers, assets and operations. AlarmForce specialises in home security, monitoring and personal emergency response systems. Telus said it will give more details in the coming months about home security systems, as part of its broadband enabled connected home strategy.
