Purse taken at estate sale

Someone stole a woman’s purse after she attended an estate sale.

Police said the incident happened during a 15-minute period near noon at a house in the 4600 block of Leafdale.

The woman told police she accidentally left the purse behind and it was gone when she returned.

Woman’s wallet stolen from her home

A woman’s wallet was taken from her house in the 1900 block of N. Vermont on Dec. 30.

The theft happened sometime between noon and 2 p.m., police said.

Police did not release information on how much money was in the wallet.

Pickpocket lifts cellphone at bar

Someone lifted a cellphone from a woman’s jacket pocket while she was at a dance club on New Year’s Day. The woman told police she noticed the theft about 12:15 a.m. at Luna, 1815 N. Main Street.

Police said the woman last noticed she had the phone about 15 minutes earlier.

Jacket taken at L.A. Fitness

A man had his jacket stolen while he was at the L.A. Fitness gym, 24352 Woodward Avenue.

The jacket was stored inside a locker while the man was at the gym for about a half hour Jan. 1. Police said the locker wan unlocked at the time of the theft.
