Coutinho medical
07.20: Philippe Coutinho is undergoing his Barcelona medical after his £142m transfer was agreed.
Barcelona struck the agreement to finally sign Coutinho on Saturday afternoon and he quickly jetted to Spain to complete proceedings.
Both clubs have now announced the deal but Coutinho must still go through the formalities of the medical and agree personal terms.
But there is not expected to be any issues with either and he will be officially unveiled today.
Marca have suggested he will sign the contract today alongside president Josep Bartomeu before the unveiling at the Nou Camp and a press conference.
But Coutinho has already spoken Barcelona’s in house TV company.
"I'm very happy, very happy," Coutinho, who watched Barcelona's 3-0 league victory over Levante at the Nou Camp, told Barca TV.
Man Utd ‘next Bale’ chase
06:00: Jose Mourinho is stepping up his pursuit of Ryan Sessegnon as Manchester United look to secure his signature ahead of seven other European clubs, according to reports.
Mourinho has told United chiefs to target a natural left-sided defender who can slot into his back four.
Alex Sandro and Danny Rose have been touted as possible targets.
But Calciomercatoweb claim United could be priced out of a move for either player with both Juventus and Tottenham reluctant to sell.
And that has pushed Mourinho to switch his focus on a move for Sessegnon and United are said to be ahead of the queue for his signature with the report going on to suggest he is touted as the “next Gareth Bale”.
Tottenham, Liverpool, Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid and Manchester City are all said to have registered an interest in the 17-year-old.

I think Ross can live up to it but he’s got to work very hard now
Chelsea’s Ross Barkley warning
05:30: Chelsea legend Frank Lampard has warned Ross Barkley he must perform on a consistent basis for the Blues.
Barkley completed his £15million move from Everton to Chelsea on Friday night.
The England international signed a five-and-a-half-year contract at Stamford Bridge.
Lampard is a fan of Barkley and believes the price Chelsea have bought him for is a bargain in today’s market, but insists he must prove it.
“At Everton I would have to say he was allowed to do it in fits and spurts, five or six games,” Lampard told BT Sport.
“At Chelsea it will be different, it will be ‘you must do this regularly, you must add other things to your game, you’ve got to be disciplined in your play’.
“I think Ross can live up to it but he’s got to work very hard now.”
Philippe Coutinho Barcelona fee
05:00: Philippe Coutinho is reportedly prepared to pay a chunk of his transfer fee to Barcelona.
Coutinho joined Barcelona from Liverpool in a £142million over the weekend.
The Brazilian put pen to paper on a five-and-a-half-year deal and has become the world’s second costliest footballer of all time.
And now it has emerged that Coutinho has had to contribute to his own move.
The Times claim Coutinho paid £11.5million to ensure there were no last-minute snags.
The 25-year-old, the report adds, has already stumped up £9m, with the other £2.5m being outlaid in the future.

Naby Keita hurry
04:30: Liverpool are trying to bring forward a deal that would see RB Leipzig star Naby Keita join this month, reports claim.
Liverpool agreed a £57million deal to sign Keita from RB Leipzig back in the summer, with the player staying in the Bundesliga on loan as part of the agreement.
However, the Daily Mail say the Reds are desperate to have the 22-year-old in their ranks by the end of the month.
It is said Liverpool are doing their utmost to ensure Keita makes the move to Merseyside ahead of schedule.
The Reds are determined to make it a good transfer window despite losing Coutinho to Barcelona.
