I don't imagine that he would outwardly admit it, but in his heart of hearts, President Donald Trump would have to realize that he is on a downward spiral when even his core group of followers in Alabama cannot be fooled forever.

Roy Moore, Trump's partner in misdeeds, was defeated in his run for the U.S. Senate. This is just another embarrassment for Trump, one among many.

His followers surely have to be realizing by now that they voted for a con man.

I'm not a Democrat or a Republican. I'm a thinking American and, no, I didn't vote for Hillary Clinton. The government does not create wealth, jobs, etc. They tax and spend, actually usurping wealth, not creating it.

Only the free enterprise system can do that if only the government will get out of the way. Most of our representatives couldn't run a peanut stand.
