How to watch the Ashes

The Ashes is live on BT Sport this year after they beat Sky Sports to the rights.

Coverage of the fifth Test begins on BT Sport 1 at 11.30pm GMT on Tuesday, January 3. Coverage runs until Monday morning.

BT Sport are also offering free highlights on BTSport.com and the BT Sport app after each day’s play.

The Ashes highlights for day one will be shown at midday on BT Sport 2 on Thursday and they last 90 minutes.

How to get BT Sport

Those with a Sky box can watch BT Sport by signing up to a 12-month package, with prices varying depending on whether you opt for SD or HD.

BT Sport is also accessible for BT TV customers for a small monthly fee, while it is also accessible through the BT Sport and live stream online player for BT broadband customers.

BT Sport 1, where the live coverage is shown, is available on Sky boxes on channel 413. BT Sport 2 is on channel 414.
