SETH Meyers didn't waste time in slamming Harvey Weinstein at the Golden Globes 2018.

SAVAGE: Seth Meyers wasted no time in blasting Harvey Weinstein

Within the first five minutes of the awards the 44-year-old comedian laid into the Hollywood producer and House Of Card's Kevin Spacey.

Seth hit the disgraced mogul and actor in a scorching opening monologue of the 75th Golden Globes.

He started: "They tried to get a woman to host…

"How would you like to come and be judged by some of the most powerful people in Hollywood... And they said well where is it... a hotel in Hollywood... and long story short, I'm your host…"

But that was just the beginning of Seth's scathing rant aimed at Harvey – who was dogged by a string of claims by more than 60 women of sexual harassment or assault against them.

He continued: "Harvey Weinstein isn't here tonight because, well, I've heard rumours that he's crazy and difficult to work with.

"Don't worry, he'll be back in 20 years when he becomes the first person ever booed during the 'In Memoriam.'"

Naturally, the A-listers gasped in shock at Seth's quick cut to the chase.

And he added: "It will sound like that."

    Harvey has categorically denied any previous allegations of rape, with his spokesperson claiming Weinstein believed the liaisons to be consensual.

    As soon as Seth had finished addressing the "elephant not in room," he wasted no time in blasting 58-year-old Kevin.

    The star continued: "I was happy to hear they're going to do another series of House Of Cards.

    "Is Christopher Plummer available for House of Cards too? I hope he can do a southern accent, because Kevin Spacey couldn't."

    Again, the audience were taken aback by Seth's brutality.

    "Oh, is that too mean to Kevin Spacey?" the 44-year-old TV presenter quizzed.

      SEXUAL MISCONDUCT: Multiple allegations against Kevin Spacey were made last year

      Kevin responded to multiple allegations of sexual misconduct, including Anthony Rapp when he was just 14.

      He soon apologised for the incident publicly, saying he was "horrified" by the story and does not remember the encounter.

      In the same statement, Spacey said: "I have loved and had romantic encounters with men throughout my life, and I choose to live as a gay man."
