Water supply likely to hit parts of Capital

Water supply will be affected in parts of the city on Monday due to an annual flushing programme of underground reservoir and booster pumping station. The areas where water will not be available or available at low pressure are  C 8-9 Vasant Kunj, Bijwasan Village old, Munirka DDA Flats 174 EWS and 68 LIG House at Plot 9 Nasirpur, Mangolpuri, Vijay Vihar Rithala Sector 1 to 4, Vivek Vihar, Phase-I, II, Janta Colony, Jhilmil, Vasasundra Enclave Soiety, Mukanpur, Jharodaka Kalan.

 Further, the supply will remain affected on Tuesday in areas like Gali No.9/13 Tuglakabad Extention, Mount Kailash, DDA Flats Sarai Kalaikhan, RPS LIG no. 10 Madangir, Jangpura, Lajpat Nagar, Bhogal, Mangolpuri, Vijay Vihar Rithala Sector 1 to 4, Vivek Vihar Phase-I,II, Janta Colony, Jhilmil, Vasasundra Enclave Soiety, Mukanpur, Jharodaka Kalan. “The Delhi Jal Board has advised residents to store a sufficient water in advance as per their requirement. The supply would be restored soon,” a release from DJB stated.

The DJB has regretted at the inconvenience caused and requested  to call on the helpline numbers for availing water tankers.
