The 'Radio on Wheel' campaign was kicked off on Sunday here by Radio Namaskar, the first community radio of Odisha.
A van will move around Konark town with radio. It will also carry Namaskar, the community newspaper along with RTI, NREGA form and other Government forms and guidelines.
It was inaugurated by eminent Community Radio Guru Dr R Sreedher, former Economic Advisor, Union Ministry of I & B Dr Brahmanand Brahma.
This is an innovative and unique idea by Radio Namaskar to reach at community. Every radio station can think of replicating the same, Dr Sreedher said.
The campaign has been started with one van now which will move around Konark city and in future such type 20 vans will be placed in different nearby towns, added community media specialist and chairperson of Radio Namaskar NA Shah Ansari.
