BARISAL, Dec 7: A youth drowned in a pond at Rajihar Village under Agailjhara Upazila here on Friday evening.
The deceased was identified as Subrata Halder, 35, son of Subodh Halder, of the village.
Local sources said Subrata was crossing the bank of the pond when he fell into it and drowned.
