Nick Powell
Wigan forward Nick Powell looks set to snub a move to Aston Villa.
Steve Bruce enquired about the 23-year-old’s availability last month but was knocked back by the League One outfit.
According to The Sun, Powell has told friends that he is open to extended his contract.
It’s claimed the former Manchester United man will put pen to paper if Wigan’s takeover by an Asian consortium goes through.
Alan Hutton
Middlesbrough boss Tony Pulis is considering a move for Alan Hutton, according to the Sunday Mirror.
The 33-year-old right-back is out of contract at the end of the season and is yet to agree an extension.
Scottish Premiership outfit Aberdeen are also monitoring the situation.
Lewis Grabban
Cardiff boss Neil Warnock is looking at a move for Villa target Lewis Grabban.
The 29-year-old striker is back at Bournemouth after his loan deal with Sunderland was cancelled and Warnock hopes to land him this month.
Villans boss Bruce has publicly denied he is in for Grabban but The Sun claim he is interested along with Wolves.

Birkir Bjarnason
Italian side SPAL are eyeing out-of-favour midfielder Birkir Bjarnason, according to TuttoMercatoWeb.
Bjarnason’s agent Jim Solbakken said: “Birkir would like to return to Serie A, he was very good in Italy and would like to play again in the Italian league.
“But he is totally focused on Aston Villa: the club is fighting to get back in the Premier League, his only thought is to do well with his club's shirt.
“We’ll see what happens.”
