The lights are on
Sea of Thieves, Rare's swashbuckling multiplayer pirate game, is coming out soon. If you're excited about the game, a Sea of Thieves-themed limited edition controller is coming out even sooner, and it looks real snazzy.
Pictured above and in the media gallery below, the controller features a deep purple, translucent design along with green that looks like sprinkled sand. The green skull in the middle is also glow-in-the-dark. Another interesting aesthetic feature is how the right trigger is gold, almost like a single golden tooth in a pirate's grin.
The controller becomes available as of February 6, and is priced $74.99.
Sea of Thieves releases for Xbox One and PC on March 20. Read our in-depth feature about its development process by heading here.

I'm excited for this game, and it's cool Microsoft is doing this... but man, that controller looks ugly to me.
Yes, Yes, Daddy Likes!
Love the controller. As usual Microsoft's special edition controllers always look incredible. But just the very premise of the game carries absolutely no appeal for me. It seemed like World of Tanks with pirate ships.
See now thats a limited edition controller, PS and Bungie should be taking notes,
Jealous ps4 owner here. You guys have some snazzy special edition stuff in xbox land
