The host Blue Devils wasted little time jumping out to a big lead and the Rovers were never able to cut into the early deficit in a non-league game on Saturday.
Western Reserve took a 20-7 lead after one quarter and pushed the margin to 23 points (44-21) by intermission.
Rootstown (4-5) was held to 20 points over the final 16 minutes.
The Blue Devils had 10 players break into the scoring column and hit seven 3-pointers. Western Reserve also controlled the boards, out-rebounding Rootstown, 46-32.
Alexis Hughes led the Blue Devils with 20 points, Alyssa Serensky added 15 points and Kennedy Miller chipped in with 10 points.
Kasidy Smith led Rootstown in scoring with 12 points, while Erica Moore had a team-high eight boards.
COPEY 74, KENT ROOSEVELT 52
The visiting Indians rallied in the second half to down the Rough Riders, 74-52, in a Suburban League American Division contest on Saturday.
Besides connecting on nine 3-pointers for the game, Copley also turned up the defensive pressure in the final two quarters to pull away.
Kent Roosevelt turned an 16-11 deficit into a 37-34 halftime lead with a 26-point second quarter.
The Indians, however, shut down the Rough Riders' offense, holding them to just nine points in the third quarter as Copley raced to a 54-46 lead.
Copley made sure Roosevelt got no closer as it closed out the game with a 20-6 scoring burst.
Kayla Fischer led the Rough Riders with 19 points, while Jazmine Moxley added eight points and a team-high seven rebounds.
