Gateano Berardi had fired the visitors in front on nine minutes with a low drive through a crowd of bodies but an inspired second-half display turned the match on its head.
Despite the Championship side taking an early lead, the Exiles set about doing all they could to bridge the 53-place gap in the English league pyramid with a valiant display.
On 76 minutes, Frank Nouble’s cross from the right was missed by his team-mates, only for Leeds defender Conor Shaughnessy to accidently tap into his own net off his shin.
There was late drama to be had though as Shawn McCoulsky headed home a 89th minute header from a corner to send the home fans wild.
