A Maine advocacy group is hosting a photo exhibit in Lewiston that documents work to address hunger in the state.

The Good Food Council of Lewiston-Auburn is hosting an opening event for the exhibit on Jan. 19. The photo exhibit is by photographer Brendan Bullock and writer Annie Murphy and is called "Feeding Maine: Growing Access to Good Food."

The food council says the exhibit was created via collaboration between Good Shepherd Food Bank and Maine Farmland Trust.

The opening event is scheduled to take place at the Atrium Gallery of the University of Southern Maine Lewiston-Auburn College in Lewiston. The exhibit will be viewable at the college from Jan. 16 to Feb. 23.
