The Emporia State University in USA and Jahangirnagar University (JU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Sunday with a view to exchange bilateral education and research.
JU Treasurer Professor Sheikh Md. Monjurul Huq on behalf of JU and president of Emporia State University, Allison Garrett singed the MoU in a programme held at senate hall of the campus.
Under the MoU, students of JU Business Studies Faculty will get opportunity of education and research at Emporia State university.
JU Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Farzana Islam, executive director of International Education department of Emporia State University Mark Dally, chairman of JU Management Studies department assistant professor Awal Al Kabir and teachers of the faculty were present at the programme.
Later, a seminar on higher Sstudy in USA organized by the Management Studies department was held.
