7 Bangladeshis among 9 killed in Saudi road crash

At least nine people, including seven Bangladeshis, reportedly were killed in a road accident in Jizan city of Saudi Arabia early today (Bangladesh Time), reports Bangla daily Prothom Alo.

Aminul Islam, labour counsellor of the Bangladesh consulate in Jeddah, told the Bangla daily that they have learnt it from local Bangladeshis that seven Bangladeshis among nine people were killed in the road accident.

Nationality of the other deceased could not be identified, the labour counsellor said, adding that he heard that the rest two victims were also Bangladeshi nationals.   

They are trying to contact with Saudi authorities to be sure the identity of the victims. He said.
