Area Boys Basketball: Ridgewood handles Sangamon Valley 75-28

CLINTON — The Ridgewood boys basketball team blew past Sangamon Valley 75-28 at Clinton’s New Year Shootout on Saturday.

The Spartans jumped out to a 41-17 lead at the end of the first half.

Briar Greenman led Ridgewood with 17 points. Riley Nelson scored 15 points, Travis Kane had 12 points and Jordan Francis chipped in 11 for the Spartans.
