Panaji: The sacred relics of the 17th century Georgian queen (Saint) Ketevan, uncovered by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) within the ruins of St Augustine Convent in Old Goa, and sent to Georgia last year, may not be brought back to Goa so soon.

The Georgian government is likely to ask the Indian government for an extension of the agreement that permitted the relics to be taken to Eurasian nation for six months.
