Coutinho yesterady left Liverpool to complete his dream move to Barcelona for £142m, making him the second-most expensive player in the world.
The Brazilian will be reunited with his former Liverpool team-mate Suarez, who swapped Anfield for the Nou Camp for £75m in 2014.
And Suarez is happy to have Coutinho at Barcelona, claiming he's exactly the right player the Catalan club needs.
"I am very happy with the arrival of Coutinho," Suarez said after his side’s 3-0 win over Levante.
"He's a great player. It's a profile that the team will enter very well."

Suarez and Coutinho came close to helping Liverpool end their long wait for a Premier League title when they finished as runner-ups in the 2013/14 campaign.
Coutinho’s Brazilian compatriot Paulinho, who joined Barca in the summer, has also hailed the 25-year-old’s arrival.
"Coutinho is a great player,” Paulinho said, who scored Barca’s third against Levante.
“I am sure that will help us very much. I am happy with the goals, but happier for the three points.”
