Investigators say John Ferguson, 62, has no local family and is known to lose his way
The Piscatiquis County Sheriff's Office is searching for a missing man in Dover-Foxcroft.
Deputies say John Ferguson, 62, of Larrabbee Farm Road, is experiencing early signs of dementia and was discovered missing during a well-being check Saturday.
They say Ferguson has no local family members and tends to lose his way.
Saturday Police found Ferguson's vehicle snowed in to his driveway with footprints leading away from his home.
Ferguson is approximately 6 foot 3 inches tall and weighs around 150 pounds.
Investigators say the DMV picture above is a year old.
Ferguson now has gray hair, a beard, a smaller build and is known to wear glasses.
Due to the extreme cold, deputies believe it is possible that someone in the area may have picked Ferguson up.
