Resurrection Catholic School

Resurrection Catholic School invites preschool children, ages 2-4, to explore its Winter Wonderland and celebrate Winter Fun Day with Resurrection pre-K students Jan. 26. Children will participate in educational and developmental activities. Registration is required by Jan. 19 for this free event to ensure adequate materials are available. Toys for Tots High School Challenge

Mulberry High won the 2017 Polk County Toys for Tots High School Challenge, collecting a total of 730 gifts that equaled 624 toys. To count toys consistently for the challenge, one toy equaled one toy, three books equaled two toys and five stocking stuffers equaled one toy. Totals for the other participating schools are: George Jenkins High 141, Bartow High 153, Winter Haven High 233 and Lake Region High 488. Bartow High also donated 11 bikes.
