Three assistant attorneys general, who resigned earlier in the day, have withdrawn their resignation letters on request of the attorney general.
Gazi Mamunur Rashid, Jahangir Alam and Hasanuzzaman Ujjal submitted their resignation letters to the attorney general’s office today for forwarding those to the president.
But, they did not mention the reasons behind their resignation in the letters.
Later, they withdrew their resignation on request of the attorney general, sources at the AG office said.
Last week, the government promoted 13 assistant attorneys general to the post of deputy attorneys general but their names were not in the list.
