Uttar Pradesh: 2 men caught stealing cows in Mughalsarai, thrashed

Chandauli SP SK Singh said the men were fleeing after stealing a cow and a calf, and that the animals' owner caught them.

Two men were thrashed by a crowd in Uttar Pradesh's Mughalsarai after they were caught stealing cows, ANI reported.

Chandauli SP SK Singh said the men were fleeing after stealing a cow and a calf - ANI said this happened in Subhash Nagar - and that the animals' owner caught them.

He said a case of theft had been registered.

ANI quoted Singh as saying that "as far as the thrashing is concerned, action will be taken."
