Pierce Barker and Dontre Flowers each finished with 14 points and Tarrence Gaines added eight points for Denison (8-14, 1-2), which surpassed last season’s win total.
The Yellow Jackets, who host Denton Ryan on Tuesday, held a 27-18 half-time lead and led by 16 going to the fourth quarter.

PILOT POINT — Cody Collinsworth scored 38 points as Pilot Point beat Gunter in district action on Friday night.
Jacob Pitts and Mason Shepperd each finished with nine points while Drake Wood and Javin Bruce chipped in seven points apiece for Pilot Point.
Tyler Scott scored 10 points, Clay Lemons added nine points and Kyle Watson finished with seven points for Gunter (4-13, 1-2).
