LITTLE ELM — Nate Uber scored 15 points and Denison held off a late push by Denton Braswell for a 66-60 victory in District 5-5A action on Friday night.


Pierce Barker and Dontre Flowers each finished with 14 points and Tarrence Gaines added eight points for Denison (8-14, 1-2), which surpassed last season’s win total.


The Yellow Jackets, who host Denton Ryan on Tuesday, held a 27-18 half-time lead and led by 16 going to the fourth quarter.
