The Paradip Swabhiman Manch (PSM) has urged the State Government to establish a special police district headquarter office, an RTO office and a special labour office here at the earliest.
PSM president Nrusingha Narayan Das and secretary Prasant Kumar Rout made this demand at a Press meet was here on Friday. They argued that Paradip requires the three offices in view of its importance as a major industrial town.
“A major portion of the Jagatsinghpur district’s revenue is being collected from Paradip area. But due to lack of interest of the Government authorities, these three offices have not been established yet,” they demanded.
Later, a team submitted a three-point charter of demands to the ADM requesting him to send the same to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.
