Chelsea news LIVE updates: Vidal deal update, Luiz to Man Utd, Bakayoko slammed by fans

CHELSEA news is breaking throughout the day and Express Sport is on hand to bring you the latest from Stamford Bridge as the January transfer window gets going.

Chelsea news LIVE updates: All the latest from Stamford Bridge

Sunday January 7

Vidal move off

10:00: Bayern Munich boss Jupp Heynckes insists Arturo Vidal will not be sold to Chelsea.

The Chile midfielder has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge but Heynckes has dismissed the rumours.

“Certainly, there's been no contact between the clubs," Heynckes said.

"It's just speculation. Arturo Vidal is very motivated, he's a top player and we need him at his very best if Bayern is to play well.

"We won't sell any players in the [transfer] window."

Luiz available on loan

09:30: Chelsea have made David Luiz available on loan as boss Antonio Conte attempts to push him out of the club.

The Daily star claim the 30-year-old Manchester United and Arsenal are interested in Luiz, who’s relationship with Conte is fractious.

The pair clashed earlier in the season after it was perceived Luiz had questioned the Italian manager’s tactics

Bakayoko chant

09:00: Chelsea fans have changed the words of a song about Tiemoue Bakayoko to express their dissatisfaction with the midfielder.

The former Monaco ace had been given his own song, which features a lyric stating "he never gives the ball away".

But following his poor performance against Norwich in the FA Cup last night, Evening Standard reporter Simon Johnson wrote on Twitter: “#cfc fans on train home have altered the Bakayoko chant to end with 'he always gives the ball away’…”
