VW Tiguan Allspace 2018 UK price and specs revealed

Volkswagen has revealed the pricing and specs for the new Tiguan Allspace 2018.

The latest SUV offering from VW is a seven-seater long wheelbase model which will cost from £29,370.

It was first revealed last year at the Detroit Motor Show 2017 and has now gone on sale in Britain.

Powering the car are engine options that are broadly similar to those on the STANDARD Tiguan.

Five engines will be available - two petrol and three diesel.

Petrol choices start with the 1.4-litre TSI which develops 148bhp on the entry-level car.

At the top of the petrol motor range is the 178bhp 2.0-litre engine which comes in four-wheel drive as standard in SEL term and costs from £35,960.

Diesel engine options include three 2.0-litre turbocharged engines, with peak power outputs of 148 bhp, 187 bhp and 237 bhp.

All versions can be specced with 4MOTION all-wheel drive apart from the 148bhp petrol car.

Its increased proportions have led to a boot space which has grown by 115-litres to a massive 730-litre boot-space which is extendable to 1,770 litres with the rear seats down.

There are two different choices of trim for the new car - SE Navigation and SEL.

With the SE Navigation trim drivers get 1-inch allot when, parking sensors and an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system.

The higher quality SEL starts at £32,545 and adds a 12.3-inch display screen where the infotainment system usually is, 19-inch alloys, sports seats and a panoramic sunroof.
