Google Maps was created in 2007 to reveal more of the world to people from the comfort of their home.

Since then, it has provided stunning scenes from foreign lands as well as helped people travel.

Whilst the famous Street View car takes photos of the scene around it, people are often caught in the crossfire.

One young man is sure to be red-faced after spotting himself doing this embarrassing mistake.

He can be seen on a busy road with young people walking around, most likely a route for high-schoolers.

As he goes to open his car, he continues to chat with two men in front of him.

A closer look shows that he doesn’t seem to know his sunglasses are on incorrectly.

Instead of wearing them on his eyes on the sunny day, he is instead wearing them on the back of his head beneath his ears.

Spotted in Russia, the fashion trend is certainly a baffling one that many men sport.

One man on Quora offered an entirely different reason as to why people wear them in that way.

Bafflingly, he suggested: “If you're walking in a park or along a beach where "aggressive" birds like magpies or large gulls are nesting, it's a good way to ward off attacks. 

“These birds tend to attack or dive-bomb from behind. Wearing your glasses on the back of your head tricks the birds into thinking you are looking at them, reducing the chance of an attack.”

Two other men were caught in an embarrassing situation, also in Russia with a car break down.

A quiet road has revealed one man in his car as it appears to have stopped moving.

Thankfully, another driver is there to help and pushes the car off the kerb in a bid to get it going again.

Further down the road, they appear to be successful.
