He scrawled the word “douchebag” on his outside wall and is threatening to deface his property further.
The strange scenario occurred after a row over the height of a fence.
Arthur Lynch, 66, lives next to Sal’s Pizza in Billerica, Massachusetts and was upset when it built a dividing fence two feet lower than he would have liked.
It is believed the company had previously agreed to build an eight-foot partition but Arthur had thrown builders off his property when they were installing it.

As a result it was only built to be six foot tall.
Angry that customers are able to see his property, Mr Lynch decided to write the insult in black spray paint on the side of his home facing the pizza shop.
It is reported that Sal’s Pizza – as well as locals – are unhappy with the act.
But Mr Lynch has said he will continue to give a pizza his mind until the fence is heightened.
“If they raise the fence, I’ll take douchebag off the house,” he said.
“Otherwise I’m probably gonna add more.”
Let’s just hope the fence gets an extra topping.
