A 74-year-old Cranston woman was missing Sunday with the police promising an exhaustive search of the Garden Hills neighborhood amid concerns about the woman’s potential exposure to extremely cold weather conditions.
Sharon Garber walked away from her West Blue Ridge Road home sometime during the early-morning hours, according to a news release issued by Cranston police Maj. Todd Patalano.
Garber is about 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighs 125 pounds and has brown eyes and shoulder-length brown hair, the release states.
Searchers are not sure what type of clothes she was wearing, it states. A phone notification was sent to more than 26,000 people, the release states.
