MANATEE COUNTY — A suspect is being sought in a pair of gas station robberies early Sunday morning, the Manatee County Sheriff's Office reports.

According to reports, a man entered a Shell gas station around 3:15 a.m. in the 800 block of 301 Boulevard East and robbed the cashier at knife point.

Around 3:50 a.m., the same man robbed a Shell gas station in the 8000 block of Lockwood Ridge Road. He arrived and left the robbery in a dark colored sedan driven by a second party.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5’8” and 160 lbs., with some facial hair. He was wearing a dark colored trench coat and blue hooded sweat shirt. He was armed with a folding style pocket knife.
