Barcelona new boy Philippe Coutinho will instantly become one of their top earners after joining the club for a staggering £142million fee.

The former Liverpool hero had signed a £200,000 per week deal at Anfield but will add another chunk to his salary in Spain.

Lionel Messi is the current top earner after agreeing to a new bumper contract at the end of 2017 with Luis Suarez and Ousmane Dembele also in the elite earning bracket.
