Dimapur, Jan. 7 (EMN): The Eastern Nagaland People’s Organisation (ENPO) has encouraged the communities of the Sangtam and the Sumi of Sitimi area in Kiphire to ‘try to solve the issue and not let it escalate further to a tribal/communal issue.’
An ENPO statement on Sun. appreciated the restraint shown by both the communities toward maintaining peace and tranquillity. “The ENPO would also like to appeal to the people of Kiphire in general and Sitimi area in particular to refrain from spreading false rumour mongering and provocative messages through social media etc.
“Further the ENPO urge the state government to take up the matter on top priority and intervene at the earliest,” the statement read.
