LAS VEGAS: Continuing to break new ground in the Las Vegas nightlife scene, Wynn Nightlife is adding three world-renowned tech house DJs/producers to its roster of big name residents.
Solomun, Jamie Jones and Black Coffee have signed exclusive agreements to perform at XS, Intrigue and Encore Beach Club through 2018. These additions will bring distinctive underground styles to the Wynn Nightlife venues.
"These first-ever tech house residencies on the Strip will showcase three of the biggest names in the genre," said Alex Cordova, Managing Partner of Wynn Nightlife. "Tech house continues to rise in popularity in the United States and abroad and we look forward to bringing and expanding this music style into our programming."
Inspired by R&B, funk, soul, hip-hop, disco and 80s music, Solomun is a major player in redefining European house music. With productions, remixes and DJing, he takes the building blocks of house and deftly reconstructs them with a modern twist. His self-described "ultra-funky basslines, euphoric melodies and emotionally charged vocals" have proven to be a wildly successful recipe for the Ibiza fixture, creating a roller coaster of musical moods for massive audiences.
Widely regarded as the leader of the new sound of house, Jamie Jones is world-renowned for his pioneering music and Paradise event series in Ibiza. His unique, warm and melodic sound delves deeper than the confines of minimalist techno. Touring takes Jones to major festivals and top stages around the world.
South African DJ and producer, Black Coffee was awarded the "Best Deep House" trophy at the 2017 DJ Awards held in Ibiza. Performing at the world's largest music festivals, the mix master brings his African essence and soaring inventive rhythms that blend seamlessly with traditional house sounds. He has mastered the unique skill of DJ'ing using only one hand.
