Preparations for upcoming 'Lok Suraj' campaign of Chief Minister Raman Singh are going on in full swing in the entire State, officials informed.
In this context, Chief Minister Raman Singh wrote to all the District Collectors and issued necessary directives.
It may be mentioned here that this is the fourth year of 'Lok Suraj' mission.
The letter mentions that this time also the campaign will be in three-phases. It gives an opportunity to the State Government to go to the door steps of the beneficiaries in the hinterland and observe that whether policies are being implemented or not, he said.
There were some changes incorporated in the Lok Suraj campaign last year and the results were very encouraging, Singh said.
The Chief Minister in his letter mentions that first phase will be launched from January 12-14 in which applications will be invited from the common masses.
The second phase will be from January 15 to March 11 in which the grievances will be redressed.
The third phase will be from March 12 to March 31 in which 'Samadhan Sibhir' will be held for every ten panchayats.
The Chief Minister with all his Cabinet colleagues, district In-charge secretaries and state Government officials will participate in the camps.
In the third phase Singh will pay surprise visits to State Government hospitals, schools, hostels, anganwadi centers, ration shops and bus stands.
Singh will take feedback from the masses during the campaign.
The State Cabinet Ministers also will tour villages and observe the implementation of various development projects.
Singh also instructed the District Collectors to see that local MPs, MLAs and other people's representatives are associated with the Lok Suraj mission. Boxes should be kept at development headquarters, gram panchayats and urban bodies to receive complaints from the general public.
In the second phase of Lok Suraj Mission the letters of complaints will be sent to respective districts, janpad panchayats and urban bodies' officials even online.
The concerned departments will settle the issue in two-months period from January 15 to March 11, 2018. Officers and employees will posted to receive people's complaints at the districts, developmental, gram panchayats and urban bodies' level.
In the last phase, 'Samadhan Shibir' will be conducted from March 12 to 31 in which details of the redressal of grievances will be given. A lot of publicity will be given to convey the messages of holding of camps at various levels. The development works will be undertaken as per the budget allocations.
Singh mentioned that awareness also will be created regarding the various social welfare projects of the State Government.
Chief Minister will also pay surprise visits to villages
Singh in his letter to District Collectors mentions that he will pay surprise tours to any of the villages and observe the developmental activities and elicit responses from the rural folks.
He will elicit feedback from the beneficiaries of various schemes.
Singh said that he will meet people's representatives , prominent citizens and students wherever he is scheduled to rest for the nights.
