PERRY 55, STEUBENVILLE 50 The Panthers outscored Steubenville 21-10 in the fourth quarter to rally for their second win of the season. Julian Jackson led Perry (2-8) with 20 points, while Jagger Haynes added 14. Jackson, who scored 14 of his points in the second half, made 11 of 15 free throws as the Panthers attempted 20 more free throws than the Big Red (5-3). Kevin Bishop led Steubenville with 16 points.

MASSILLON 67, AKRON EAST 60 Dyson Berry scored 23 points and Jayden Ballard added 18 as the Tigers won on the road. Massillon (4-6) outscored the Dragons 37-22 during the second and third quarters after the two teams were tied at 16-16 after one. Billie Johnson led Akron East (2-6) with 14 points. Derveonte Russell scored 12 points and Ross Walker added 10 for the Dragons, who were 8-for-23 from the foul line.

FAIRLESS 57, TUSKY VALLEY 49 Jack Laney knocked down 7 of 10 fielders, including a pair of 3s, and scored a game-high 19 points to lift the Falcons over the visiting Trojans. Jeremy Salvo put up team highs of 15 points and 11 rebounds for Tusky Valley.

TUSC. CENTRAL CATHOLIC 47, TUSKY VALLEY 43, OT From Friday night, Nathan Price scored 18 points on 8-of-10 shooting from the floor to lead the host Saints to an IVC win. Jeremy Salvo scored 11 points and Jared Kienzle added 10 for Tusky Valley.

WOOSTER 54, CENTRAL CATHOLIC 40 The Generals used a 13-4 run in the third quarter to pull away to a win over the Crusaders. Tra’loh Greene led Central Catholic with 9 points.

MCKINLEY 59, LAKE 27  Leading by only five points at halftime, the Bulldogs put the game away by outscoring the host Blue Streaks 32-3 in the third quarter. Kierstan Bell scored 19 of her 37 points in the third. Ohio’s reigning Ms. Basketball, the 6-foot junior moved past East Canton’s Caitlin Sharp (1,666) into eighth place on Stark County’s all-time scoring list at 1,675 career points. Bell also grabbed seven rebounds. Junior Chamera Young matched Bell’s four 3-pointers made and scored 12 points for the Pups (11-1, 5-1). Jessica LeBeau’s 11 points paced Lake (4-7, 1-5), which led 8-5 after the first quarter. The Blue Streaks committed 34 turnovers.

GLENOAK 51, PERRY 35 The Golden Eagles outscored the Panthers 29-13 in the second half to pull away to a Federal League win. Erika Warren scored 16 points and Aniyah Hall finished with 10 to lead GlenOak. Perry’s Riley Pireu scored a game-high 23 points.

CENTRAL CATHOLIC 45, MANCHESTER 38 Ashley Schott scored 18 points to lead the Crusaders to what is believed to be the 600th win in the history of the program. The Central program dates back to January of 1974. The Crusaders led by one after three quarters before outscoring the Panthers 13-7 in the final eight minutes to post their first win of the season. Kylie Anker led Manchester with 12 points.

MASSILLON 93, FIRESTONE 22 Kortney Kiles and Tamia Ridley each scored 18 points and grabbed eight rebounds in the Tigers’ decisive win over the Falcons. Kaylee Pierce finished with 15 points, five steals and five assists for Massillon. Makayla Pierce added a team-high nine assists.

WEST BRANCH 59, LOUISVILLE 41 Kayla Hovorka and Natalie Zuchowski scored 16 points apiece as the Warriors improved to 10-0. West Branch led 16-4 after one quarter and was never threatened. Hovorka and Zuchowski also grabbed eight rebounds apiece. Ellie Jackson led Louisville with 12 points.

MARLINGTON 56, MINERVA 37 Brianna Hoopes hit five 3-pointers and finished with a game-high 19 points to lead the Dukes to an NBC win. Robin Campbell hit all nine of her free throw attempts and scored 13 points for Marlington. Alivia Lepley added 10. Kayla Kinsey led Minerva with 11 points.

CANTON SOUTH 57, ALLIANCE 22  Brooke Noll scored 20 points and grabbed five rebounds as the Wildcats rolled to an NBC win at home. Alex Brown added 13 points for South (7-5, 3-4).

CARROLLTON 52, SALEM 37 Mikayla Poole scored 17 points and Cailee Husted added 15 as the Warriors won at home in NBC action.

EAST CANTON 58, CLAYMONT 43  Savannah Yacklin scored 26 points, making 12 of 13 free throws, as the Wizards won in a rout. Mary Reichard added 14 points, including a pair of 3-pointers.

SANDY VALLEY 43, INDIAN VALLEY 23 Karlee Altimore scored 15 of her 19 points in the second half as the host Cardinals pulled away for an IVC win. Altimore added six rebounds and four steals for Sandy Valley, which was down 12-11 at halftime but outscored Indian Valley 32-11 during the final two quarters. Kirston Moriconi scored 11 points for the Cardinals (7-5, 3-3) and Tori Sickafoose added five assists and four steals.

TUSKY VALLEY 110, NEWCOMERSTOWN 20  Boston McKinney broke Tusky Valley’s career assist record in an easy win over Newcomerstown. McKinney finished with six assists to surpass the record of 387 held by Kim Quillen since 1975. She finished with six assists and also had 13 points and 10 steals. Ali Shane scored 18 points to lead seven Tusky Valley players in double figures. She also grabbed 11 rebounds.

TUSLAW 61, NORTHWEST 41 Taylor Leedy scored 14 points to power the Mustangs past the Indians in a PAC-7 matchup. Tuslaw outscored Northwest 16-6 in the second quarter to grab a 12-point halftime lead and was never threatened in the second half. Majestic Sales scored 13 points and grabbed eight rebounds for the Mustangs. Harmony Miller finished with 12 points and Payton Stewart added 11. Shaye Foutty scored 11 points and Riley Cudnik finished with 10 for the Indians.

MALVERN 57, RIDGEWOOD 50 Kelsi Hulit poured in 27 points to lead the Hornets past the Generals in IVC action. Malvern broke a tie game by outscoring Ridgewood 18-11 in the fourth quarter. Jazmariah Moore finished with 13 points for Malvern.
