Volusia-Flagler area road work for Monday, Jan. 8, 2018

Daytona Beach

1. LPGA Boulevard from Jimmy Ann Drive to Derbyshire Road: Watch for slower traffic and some possible lane closures or shifts until this summer. Signs in place.

2. Tom Staed Veterans Memorial Bridge (Orange Avenue Bridge): Closed for bridge replacement until further notice. Use International Speedway Boulevard Bridge as a detour.

3. S.R. 5A: There will be single-lane closures possible between Brentwood Drive and Nova Road, Sunday through Thursday, 7 p.m.- 6 a.m., for paving operations.

 

DeLand

4. S.R. 472: There will be nighttime inside lane closures possible between U.S. 17/92 and I-4, Monday through Friday, 7 p.m.-7 a.m.

 

Ormond Beach

5. Granada Bridge: The roadway lighting along the middle median island of the Granada Bridge, from Beach Street to Riverside Drive, will be removed for maintenance activities until further notice. The project will include the replacement of existing bridge lighting foundations, poles and fixtures. The decorative pedestrian lighting along both Granada Bridge sidewalks will remain open. Motorist should be aware of lane closures but vehicles will still be able to cross the bridge.

6. S.R. 40: There will be inside single-lane closures possible between Pinto Lane and Indian Springs Drive, Monday through Friday, 7 a.m.-7 p.m.

 

Volusia County

7. I-95: There will be southbound lane closures from U.S. 92 to I-4. Sunday through Friday, 9 p.m.-6 a.m., and Monday through Saturday, 7 a.m.-7 p.m. There will be northbound outside lane closures south of I-4, Monday and Tuesday, 7 a.m.-7 p.m., for drilled shaft installation. There will be single-lane closures with flagging operations on Tomoka Farms Road near the I-4 overpass on Monday, 7 a.m.-7 p.m.

8. U.S. 92: The on ramp to I-95 southbound will be closed Sunday through Thursday, 10 p.m.-6 a.m., traffic will be detoured to Williamson Boulevard to S.R. 400.

9. 1-4: The eastbound ramp to I-95 northbound will be closed Monday and Tuesday, 10 p.m.-6 a.m., traffic will detour to S.R. 400 to Williamson Boulevard to northbound U.S. 92.

10. S.R. 44: There will be rolling single-lane closures possible for striping between Prevatt Avenue and Hidden Pines Boulevard, Monday through Friday, 7 p.m.-7 a.m. There will be intermittent short-term single-lane closures with flagging operations possible moving east from Boundary Avenue, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., to accommodate concrete repairs.

11. North Causeway: There are lane shifts currently in place along the western end to accommodate work on the bridges over Berrys Canal and Conners Canal. The right-turn lane from Riverside drive is temporarily closed. The speed limit has also been reduced for safety.

12. S.R. 415: There will be single-lane closures with moving operations for striping on the northbound lanes Monday, 7 a.m.-7 p.m., on the bridge over the St. Johns River.
