Finnish newspaper names sultanate among must-see places in 2018

The Visit Finland newspaper has described the sultanate as a country that is rich in attractive landscape and monuments. It describes it as a meeting point between Asia, Africa at the southern east part of the Arabian Peninsula.

The newspaper has advised tourists from different parts of the world to make the sultanate one of their must-see places in 2018. It pointed out that the sultanate has long virgin, attractive beaches, deserts, caves, mountains and wadis.

Moreover, the sultanate has historic cities and villages and the residents ensure that the true Omani traditions and values are maintained. It also pointed out that the sultanate enjoys a pleasant weather especially in Muscat during January, which makes it an ideal destination during this time of the year.

It has also noted that Muscat Festival, a fun-filled event, will be held at Amerat Park and Naseem Gardens from January 18 to February 10.
