Information: A concert celebrating the music of Elvis Presley. The show begins with the early rockabilly years and continues era by era ending with the Las Vegas concert years. This year's lineup consists of Elvis entertainers Shawn Klush, Cody Ray Slaughter, Dean Z, and Ryan Pelton. Special guests include Rock & Roll Hall of Famer The Sweet Inspirations, Grammy award winning vocal group The Blackwood Quartet and The Fabulous Ambassadors Band.

What: 14th annual Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship Breakfast
When: 9 a.m. Jan. 13
Where: Rockford University, Burpee Center, 5050 E. State St., Rockford
Admission: $25, adults; $15, ages 18 and younger.
Information: The Mu Alpha Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. hosts the annual breakfast. High school seniors will compete in an oratorical contest for college scholarships. The event will feature breakfast and a keynote address.

What: Royal Winter Ball: Polynesian Paradise
