DHAKA: At least six Bangladeshi nationals among nine were killed and fifteen others wounded in a road accident at Jizan city of Saudi Arabia early Saturday (Bangladesh Time).

A Saudi Arabian news source said that a pick-up van, carrying 27 passengers, collided head-on with another vehicle, turning the pick-van upside down. 

7 bodies were recovered from the spot. 15 were hospitalized locally. Death toll rose to 9 until now. 
 
A Bangladeshi expatriate-Faridul Islam identified the deceased as follows: Amir Hossain of Narsingdi, Matiur Rahman of Narayanganj, Jasim of Kishoreganj, Dulal of Sirjganj and Shafiqul of Tangail, and Hridoy.

The victims were identified as cleaners of an organization.
