Goa police rescues four minor children

PANAJI: Calangute police on Sunday rescued four minor boys who were found roaming on the beach without any guardian.

Calangute police inspector(PI) Jivba Dalvi said a special operation was conducted late on Saturday night to trace minor children who wander around on the beach late in the night without any guardian.


The four minors, who were rescued in the presence of members of the NGO Scan India, have been lodged at Apna Ghar, Merces, while efforts are on to trace their parents.


In a similar operation last month, 12 children had rescued, PI Dalvi added.
