RAWSON — Tied at 21-21 at halftime, Cory-Rawson went on an 18-13 run in the third quarter then hung on for a 52-49 nonconference win Saturday over New Riegel.
Eric Ritter hit a pair of 3-pointers and finished with game-highs of 20 points and nine rebounds to lead Cory-Rawson (4-7). Tommy Stauffer added a dozen points and Kyle Schultz handed out six assists for the Hornets.
Nick Reinhart’s 16 points led New Riegel (5-3), and Ben Dryfuse added 10 points for the Blue Jackets.

The Rams, who improved to 10-2 overall and 7-1 in the N10, moved into a first-place tie with Colonel Crawford (10-2, 7-1) in the conference.
Upper Sandusky trailed by three after one quarter before outscoring the Eagles 16-6 in the second quarter, led by Evan Young’s game-high 20 points.
Jevon Dible also chipped in 13 points for the Rams, while Trevor Clifford added 11 points and Mason Vent scored 10.
Brody Martin paced the Eagles with 13 points and Jordan Fenner scored 10.

They fell behind 15-2 after the first quarter but got right back into the game by outscoring Mechanicsburg 15-9 in the second and fourth quarters.

MOUNT VICTORY — Mohawk built a 31-14 halftime edge and cruised past Ridgemont 63-44 for a nonleague boys basketball victory Saturday.
Kaiden Hammer and Zach Hayman each scored 14 points to pace the Warriors (7-4) while Chris Klopp added 12 points and seven rebounds.
Connor Martino totaled a game-high 15 points for the Gophers (0-12).
