Galesburg Boys Swimming: Streaks sixth at Iron Invite

NORMAL — The Galesburg High School boys swimming and diving team placed sixth out of eight teams at the Iron Invite on Saturday.

Edwardsville won the invite with 368 points. Richwoods took second with 350.5 and United Township was third with 298. The Silver Streaks finished with 250 points.

Drew Giles touched the wall first in the 100 breaststroke in 1:03.46 to lead Galesburg. Giles was also second in the 200 IM in 2:10.09.

Zach Cantwell finished fourth in the 200 IM in 2:19.82 and Austyn White was fourth in the 1 meter diving with a dive on 300.85 for the Streaks.
