The FA Cup third round takes place this weekend with Arsenal looking to retain the trophy.

They face Nottingham Forest on Sunday.

Other big clashes in the round include Liverpool taking on rivals Everton, Middlesbrough facing Sunderland and Norwich hosting Premier League champions Chelsea.

FA Cup fourth round draw: When is it?

FA Cup ties for the fourth round will be decided on Monday, January 8 before Crystal Palace face Brighton.

BBC Two and BT Sport will both show the draw live from the Amex stadium.

Jake Humphrey will host as the ties get decided with two guests yet to be announced.

The draw will take place from 7.10pm.

FA Cup draw: When is the fourth round played?

Fourth round ties will be played across the weekend of January 26-29, 2018.

Winning clubs will receive £90,000 in prize money.

First though there are 32 ties to be played this weekend in the FA Cup third round.

Liverpool saw off arch rivals Everton 2-1 thanks to Virgil van Dijk winner from a corner.

Manchester United also advanced on Friday night against Championship side Derby.

Fleetwood and Leicester will face a replay after drawing 0-0 in the early game on Saturday.

Middlesbrough also beat rivals Sunderland to take their place in the fourth round draw.

The biggest shock on Saturday saw Premier League side Stoke dumped out of the competition by Coventry.

Norwich also held Chelsea to a 0-0 draw.
