In another tweet, Lieu shared an exchange he had with his son, in which his child points out that Lieu sounds "mental" and "weird" when he asserts that he is "stable" and "really smart" – a reference to Trump's claim.

In a series of tweets on Saturday, Trump lashed out at critics who have raised questions about his mental health, saying that he's not only "really smart," but a "very stable genius."
"Actually, throughout my life, my two greatest assets have been mental stability and being, like, really smart,” he wrote in one tweet.
The tweet came after the release of a new book, "Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House" by New York media writer Michael Wolff, which includes provocative and unflattering claims about the president, including doubts among Trump’s senior aides about his mental fitness for office.
