Satna, Jan 6: A patient was killed and three persons were critically injured in a collision between an ambulance and a truck in Satna district of Madhya Pradesh on Saturday. The mishap happened on Maihar-Rewa Road.
The injured were immediately shifted to the nearby hospital for further treatment. The condition of injured people are said to be critical. The reason behind the collision is yet to be ascertained.
In a similar incident on Friday, five students of Delhi Public School, Indore, were killed as the driver of the school bus lost control and rammed the vehicle head-on into a truck. The bus driver was also killed in the mishap that reportedly happened on Kanadia Road when the school bus was on its way to drop children to their homes.
The deceased children have been identified as Rahul, Hardeep Kaur, Shruti, Swastik Pandya and Kriti Agarwal.
Meanwhile, Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Bhoopendra Singh directed the Indore DIG and Indore RTO to investigate the matter and submit a report immediately.
