Jayalalithaa's death: Sasikala seeks testimonies given to probe panel against her

Jailed All (AIADMK) has requested Justice inquiry commission, which is probing the death of former J. Jayalalithaa, to provide her with the copies of testimonies given by various witnesses against her.

Sasikala, who has been jailed in a multi-crore disproportionate assets case, filed an affidavit through her in this regard on Friday.

In the affidavit, she, reportedly, has also sought copies of documents submitted as evidence against her.

Earlier on December 22, Jayalalithaa's death probe commission had summoned Sasikala and in this matter.

Jayalalithaa, popularly known as 'Amma', was taken to Chennai's on September 22 last year and treated in the hospital for 75 days before she breathed her last on December 5.

Subsequently, a one-man commission was constituted and a probe under a retired judge, Justice Arumugasamy, was initiated on October 30.
