The Jammu and Kashmir Police arrested five drug peddlers and seized seven kilograms of heroin as part of an ongoing anti-narcotics drive in Jammu. Inspector General of Police, SD Singh, said that the high grade heroin was to be transported to Punjab. The seized heroin had markings of Pakistan and Afghanistan on it. Along with heroin, mobile phones and bank notes were also seized. Further investigation into the matter is currently underway.
