Playing their first game after the holiday break, the Pocola Lady Indians rolled past Panama on the road, 70-36, on Thursday.

Pocola (9-1), ranked No. 7 in 3A, trailed 13-11 after the first quarter but outscored the Lady Razorbacks in the second, 19-8, to take a 30-21 halftime lead. The Lady Indians then posted a 22-7 third-quarter edge for a 52-28 advantage.

Four Lady Indians reached double figures in the win. Shakyrah Gladness led the way with 19 points, 14 in the second half, and Morgan Francis added 14 points and hit four 3-pointers. Jazmyn Johnson added 11 points and hit two 3's, and Emma Damato had 10 as well for Pocola.

Panama 52, Pocola 48

BOYS — The Razorbacks held off the Indians on Thursday as three players hit double figures.

Connor Tackett and Tobin Wright each had 11 points, and Dakota Eaves added 10 for the Razorbacks (9-1).

Pocola got 19 points from Devin Hewes, who also hit three 3's. Derek Carter had 15 points as well for the Indians.

Cameron 64, Keota 45

GIRLS — Hannah McCormick scored 22 points to help lead the Lady Yellowjackets to the win on Thursday.

Dacey Cloud added 12 points and Amber Battice had 10 as well for Cameron (9-3). Piper Reed led Keota with 21 points.

Cameron 52, Keota 37

BOYS — Jagger Harley had 16 points and Jordan Cannon had 12 in Thursday's win for the Yellowjackets (7-6).
